Rare Diamond Jubilee edition, built to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Ford Motor Company.
Ford called it the most luxurious car they ever built.
MSRP was over $21,000 in 1978! Many exclusive features including special color, Jubilee Gold, gold tinted moonroof, color keyed turbine wheels, color keyed grill & bumper rub strips, beveled glass opera window with simulated diamond chip, padded trunk lid and special coach lights in landau top molding.
The interior is totally unique to the Diamond Jubilee edition and features bucket seats in special cloth, leather trimmed center console with factory umbrella, leather trimmed dash, leather bound owners manual in glove box, rear seat arm rest, thicker carpet, dark wood tone on faux wood finishes, map pockets on back of front seat and cloth trim over interior components that are normally plastic (lower door panels, headliner molding, A pillar molding).
Even the trunk compartment received special treatment with thick color keyed carpeting and a factory tool roll strapped in the corner.
This particular example has 55,000 miles, runs excellent and has working air conditioning.
The exterior is in need of paint, minor rust repair and in need of a new vinyl landau top.
The interior is in good condition.
