REED WARD’S OFFICE, Receptionist / File Clerk / Level I Biller $14.00 Greet all patients pleasantly and professionally, answer multiple phone lines in a timely manner, schedule patient appointments, update daily appointments, register new patients into the computer database, create patient charts, update established accounts and information as necessary, process charge tickets and charts for next days’ appointments, make reminder call to patients for upcoming appointments, collect payments on account and co-pays according to credit policy guidelines, pull faxes and file charts as needed, send for patient records and prepare correspondence for mailing, copy and record all medical record requests, manage all healthy connection requests and chart appropriately, balance petty cash weekly, ordering of office supplies and maintenance of office equipment, plan and complete assigned activities in an organized and effective manner while keeping office orderly and clean. Type 60 wpm with zero errors, 10-key by touch, Supply Orders, Management of Shelf Stock, I am familiar with CVO’s, CMN’s and Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
August 22, 2009-November 2, 2009 - Bonneville Community School District 91, Student Companion. $9.79 Within this part-time position, I spent much of my mornings interacting with special needs students. My assignment was to offer them a companion or mentor to turn to during difficult times and support the development of positive decision making skills to allow them to better ‘fit’ into the structured requirements of a classroom. Reporting directly to the Principal of the school, we worked together to ensure the needs of the student were being met, and they were developing respect for themselves and others. A very positive experience, operating along the same premise as Big Brothers & Big Sisters. I left this position with the offer of full time employment and a pay increase.
Sept. 1, 2009-November 2, 2009 - New Journeys Drug and Alcohol Counseling Service, Receptionist. $8.76 Working in this part-time position, I mainly dealt with the organization and scheduling of night time counseling sessions for repeat offenders requiring support scheduled by the Bonneville County Court and recommended by their probation officers. really purely a clerical position, requiring appointment scheduling and management, multiple phone lines, accounts receivable, filing, general office cleaning and maintenance. Within this position I supported 5 Drug and Alcohol Counselors and 2 Marriage Counselors. I left this position in their good graces to move on to a full time position with higher pay.
And last, but not least… July 1, 2008-July 1, 2013 - Self Employed as Owner and Operator of
LET ME HELP YOU WITH THAT! A Full Service Household Assistant, where I spend much of my ‘off’ time doing odd jobs and practices helping the elderly within our community.
Prior to moving to Idaho I was employed by First Data Resources, Inc., in Omaha, NE as a Credit Card Customer Service Analyst for the banking industry, where I worked for 13 years from November 1987 to October 2000. Then again resuming work as an Office Assistant for Westside Community Schools in Omaha, NE., where I handled the procurement processes for the Food and Nutrition program and managed and ordered all school/office supplies while managing the budget for the Hillside Elementary School Principal, Jim Stevens. 2002-2005 School years. I left this position to follow my husband and his career to Idaho, with the Union Pacific Railroad. Since leaving Omaha, I have held various other positions within the school districts that my children have attended: Para-Professional at Chloe Clark Elementary in DuPont, WA. 2006. Speech and Language Assistant and Substitute Teacher for Bonneville Early Intervention Center and Special Education Para-Professional for Ammon Elementary School in Idaho Falls, ID. 2007-2008.
I have been recognized for my Customer Service Skills by clients and customers throughout my working career. I have participated and served on the PTO’s in all of my children’s schools, implementing safety procedures for crossing guards and improving the grounds for our community of students. Working on grants to acquire funding, for walking trails and landscaping improvements. I have held two offices, President and Treasurer for the Boy Scouts of America Troop #502 in Omaha, NE. I served as Assistant Troop Leader for the Girl Scouts while living in the Washington area. I have spent time working with the Fort Calhoun, NE., JAYCEE’s Organization, promoting community improvements. Over the past 10 years I have worked with and for three Foreign Exchange programs and hosted a variety of exchange students, to promote educational experiences for students in other countries. I have volunteered my time working with the Make-A-Wish foundation, Rolling Hills Classic, Wish-Walk-Run, Relay for Life, Operation Lifesaver and JDRF. My greatest achievement is being married to a railroader and being a mother to three wonderful children and teaching them strong work ethics and helping them to experience the joys of living a good productive life.
