POSITION PROFILEThis position offers an introduction into legal conflicts and risk management.
You will be working within a large team environment on site within a law firm.
You have direct interaction with the Ricoh staff on site as well as with the personnel of the firm.
The role will require your ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
You will have a manager that you report to, but there are several other stakeholders or customers that will make requests of you on a daily basis.
This position will complete the day-to-day tasks of completing client requests for Conflict Checks.
The Conflict Specialist will process the daily workflow for new firm clients and matters into firm systems (conflicts, records management, accounting and practices databases).
The conflict specialist is required to provide accurate information based on new client conflict searches.
This position must process requests in a time sensitive manner.
The schedule for this position will be 11:
00 am - 8:
00 pm Monday - Friday JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Process client requests for conflict reviews Ensure accurate look-up process based on client Enters information into firm Records Management system Coordinates requests for conflict checks Obtain thorough understanding of each process related to conflict checks Conducts data entry as part of conflict check processCreate new client files as per firm process for conflict related searchesPerforms other duties as assignedEnters client-matter information into firm records and accounting system (only pertains to client conflict checks) QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications) High School diploma with 2 to 3 years of related work experience Law firm experience a plus (Conflicts and/or Records Management.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
