Management and Program Assistant (VETlink & ICB Coordinator)

The team member is knowledgeable of the overall facility and network goals, missions, and priorities to ensure that VetLink and ICB programming do not adversely impact other programs or resources. The team member integrates VetLink and the ICB program planning within the facility operations as a whole to ensure goals and priorities are complementary and in congruence with the overall VISN programs.Other duties may require:
Provide leadership and expertise to committees, study groups, and project assignments;developing data, forming plans, and preparing recommendations that may impact planning for VetLink and ICB as a whole. Serves and/or represents the facility on various VetLink and ICB groups. Engage in outreach planning and activities, including work with potential non-VA community partners in an effort to improve care and safety of Veterans healthcare services via initiatives and programming. Collaborate with VISN 8 on maintaining linkages and effective communications with the VetLink vendor on national training to ensure optimal VetLink educational opportunities for facility staff. Develops specific VetLink and ICB applications in collaboration with station VetLink and ICB oversight councils, clinical, administrative, and technical staff as needed. Manages the delivery of VetLink and ICB applications. Develops, tracks and disseminates outcome measures, as appropriate, including clinical data, and patient and staff satisfaction measures. Assures the facility establishes and utilizes appropriate VHA workload reporting and data management systems for VetLink and iCB programs. Monitors core quality and performance measures for VetLink and ICB programs. Ensures all VetLink and ICB clinics are authorized and named in compliance with Network clinic VetLink and ICB naming conventions. Establishe guiding processes, principles and policies for the development and implementation of patient and family centric VetLink and ICB programs at the facility level, and for the operation,management and oversight of VetLink and ICB programs.
