Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing duties that include:
Preparing estimates of annual funding needs, assuring that obligations and expenditures are in accordance with existing laws and regulations; 2) Preparing a variety of reports about the status of funds, expenses, and obligations for budget request, and 3) Input budget data into financial accounting systems utilizing systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFBS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade level/equivalent to the NH-02 or GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
