System Developer
What will I be doing?
As a System Developer you would be responsible for executing your position's responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
This position will be responsible for the ongoing automation of manual tasks. It will involve the creation of databases and the user interfaces to allow users to easily work with data in those databases. It will also involve all aspects of managing a Microsoft SQL server. This position needs to understand the needs of business along with the technical tools to achieve the department's goals.
Example of duties this position will be responsible for:
Building web/C#/VB interfaces for marketing databases
Programing updates, deletes, and inserts in marketing databases
Writing code & application to automate payroll
Dealing with transfer of data between HGVC and external vendors
Interfacing data between custom applications and VOICE
Developing Web Services to be shared by different applications, including VOICE, websites, flash and director presentations, databases, and other applications
Using source control to maintain/backup source
Following instructions and flow-charts to develop software
Supporting existing business software that has been developed or acquired by HGVC

Experience:
1 years of Web development experience
1 years of experience programming in one or more of the following: C#, VB6, ASP.NET, .NET Framework 2.0 4.0, Visual Studio 2010/2012, Java, DBL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Web API, ASP.NET WCF, RESTful Services
Knowledge of Microsoft web server technologies, IIS configuration, authentication
Understanding of T-SQL
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL server (2008 and 2012)
Good project management skills
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Angular JS, mobile application development
Experience with source control system such as TFS
Expereince with DevOPs tools such TeamCity
Experience with DevOps tools such TeamCity, Jenkins, etc
