Representative, IMC - Florida & U.S. Hispanic Market

The Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Team is responsible for both the development of the communication strategy and the facilitation of all marketing campaigns for the Florida and U.S Hispanic Segments. The Integrated Marketing Communications Representative role is to understand the brand marketing / business strategy for Universal Orlando Resort and assist in the development of the strategic communication briefing documents to guide internal resources in the development of work product. The goal is to ensure all components of the marketing communications plan come together to become a fully integrated communications plan that will engage targeted audiences with a powerful and consistent brand voice.
This role will support the Sr. Manager with the development of integrating & executing the communication strategies and all marketing campaigns for the Florida and U.S. Hispanic segments. This includes, but is not limited to writing creative content briefs, ensuring marketing projects are created on-time and within budget and aligning with all key internal and external stakeholders. The person in this role will work closely with the team's Director & Sr. Manager, key internal teams including Consumer Brand Management, Integrated Media, other IMC teams, Public Relations, eCommerce and the internal Creative Village.
This person will also be the key member of the IMC team, responsible for working with the project management team, assigned to this area of business, to facilitate and coordinate all creative tactical executions coordinating approvals with various teams across the organization supporting all marketing efforts developed for each campaign.
MAJOR
Responsibilities:
Communication strategy and marketing plan development
Will work closely with the Brand Experience IMC team and support the development of marketing plans for various campaigns.
Must work closely with the internal partners that this position supports to develop a solid understanding of key business needs that each campaign will support.
Prefer functional knowledge of broadcast media, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), user experience, display advertising, rich media, mobile platforms, social platforms, and E-commerce.
Development and execution of key campaigns and supporting tactics.
Help manage timelines of key projects to ensure tactics are delivered on time and within budget.
Developing subsequent creative briefs and work closely with the internal Creative Village on the execution of all campaign creative.
Maintaining communication calendars for various campaigns.
Possess strong organizational skills to balance multiple projects with staggered delivery dates as well as prioritize tactic delivery and manage internal stakeholder expectations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Ensure there is consistent alignment between all internal project stakeholders.
Submit projects for review and consolidate feedback.
Provide timely feedback to the creative team.
Share final products with all key stakeholders.
Performs other duties as assigned. Proactively contributes to continuous process improvement by effectively identifying and addressing issues, and coaching the team to support the workflow design, and ensure there is consistent alignment between internal partners, other IMCs, IMC Development and Consumer Brand Management teams.
Qualifications:
Fluent in Spanish verbal and written.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook with an emphasis on PowerPoint.
Working knowledge of Workamajig workflow system is a plus, but not required.
Must have strong organizational and project management skills.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents.
Must be able to write routine reports, business correspondence and timelines.
Must be able to effectively present information to individuals and groups.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Integrated Communications or Advertising
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, advertising or communications. Previous advertising agency, travel/tourism or entertainment experience is a plus.
