This position supporting the Logistics Information Solutions Mission Area and is for the in-country Program Manager responsible for being the primary face to the customer and ensuring successful cost, schedule and technical execution of the Qatar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) commercial contract. Under this contract, LM will be developing, integrating, delivering, and providing training for an ERP system across multiple locations within Qatar. Primary activities will include coordination with in-country LM resources, suppliers (PM will also act as Supplier Program Manager), day to day interface with the customer (Qatar Armed Forces), and integration with US based Program Manager on a regular basis.
Basic Qualifications
Willingness and ability to expat to Qatar for a minimum of 36 months
Demonstrated technical management skills
Experience leading multi-disciplined teams located in various global locations while demonstrating behaviors consistent with full spectrum leadership tenets
Strong business acumen demonstrated by track record of successful cost, schedule, and technical performance
Demonstrated ability work across cultural differences with international partners, specifically Middle Eastern countries
Demonstrated ability to develop strong and lasting customer partnerships
Proficient interpersonal and communications (written and verbal) skills
Demonstrated experience managing suppliers
Desired skills
Bi-Lingual (Arabic)
Prior experience with large scale IT implementation
Program Management Certification - Level 2
Prior In-County (Middle East) Program Management experience
Prior experience as a Supplier Program Manager.
