Coordinator, Show (Universal Creative)


Summary: The Show Coordinator is primarily responsible for overall management of documentation including, but not limited to Deliverables Lists, Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents, management of the project folder structure and document control to the architects and vendors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Show Producers to manage graphics, wardrobe, props and show set efforts and assets within the project team as well as to vendors and the General Contractor. This includes in field work during install and documentation of vendor visits.
Ensure that the Creative team has complete and current information on project scope, budget, schedule procurement and development strategies.
Assists in the development and processing of all RFP Documents; required to procure show elements and show theming.
Contributes to the facilitation, organization and reporting of project team meetings and maintains action item lists with responsibilities, duties and current status.
Partners with the project's producers to complete special assignments.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
SCOPE: Moderately routine; general policies applied. Some decision-making. Influences decisions of moderate nature requiring high degree of tact.

Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
EDUCATION: Associate's degree in Arts or Science is required. Bachelor's degree in Arts or Science is preferred.
Experience: Prefer 1 - 3 years Coordinator or Administrative Assistant experience in themed design/production environment. Related theme park experience is a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with Photoshop, Sketch Up and CAD capabilities preferred.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Ability to review and understand architectural, engineering, and ride / show documentation including specification and blueprints, understanding of production / design terminology is required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the individual is required to:
Regularly (2/3 of the time or more) use repetition-using an input device-a keyboard or mouse-in a steady manner.
Frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time) talk, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods; adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus while in changing light conditions e.g., sunshine to indoor or dark conditions), work in varied light conditions including low or diminished lighting.
Occasionally (1/3 of the time or less) stand for prolonged periods, hear audible alarms, voice commands with background noise, use hands and fingers to grip, pinch, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach, pull, push with hands and arms above/below head, repeat motions more than twice per minute, work in an environment subject to vibrations, lift/push up to 15 pounds with control, work in an environment with flashing lights including strobe lamps, maintain alertness and attentiveness up to 4 hours while working varying hours, maintain concentration/focus (e.g., ability to interpret the work environment and make decisions on predetermined operating policies and procedure).
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision with or without corrective lens (clear vision at 20 feet or more); color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors); depth perception (vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point).
