Summary:
The Media Coordinator is primarily responsible for overall coordination of project media documentation including, but not limited to Media Asset Deliverables, Final Scripts, Reference Documents, Project Structure Folder, Production schedules, Media Scope, Travel Coordination and all other pertinent Media Records.
MAJOR
Responsibilities:
Collaborates with Media Producers on the organization and submission of all project related documentation required for third party Intellectual Property (IP) approval and ensures that the database is maintained to reflect accurate records including transmittal of all correspondence and listed video/audio pertinent project elements.
Responsible for downloading, logging and organizing media from vendors.
Edit and modify audio and video clips as needed.
Knowledge of video and audio software, production process and postproduction.
Responsible for coordinating and scheduling all photo/film shoots, mock-ups, audio sessions and tests for multiple projects.
Ensure that all project team members have complete and current information on project scope, budget, schedule procurement and development strategies.
Collaborates with project management in the development and processing of all RFP Documents required to procure needed media elements for each attraction.
Contributes to the facilitation, organization and reporting of project team meetings and maintains action item lists with responsibilities, duties and current status.
Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Video editing software, Audio mixing software.
Ability to review and understand attraction documentation including specification and blueprints, understanding of media production / film terminology is required.
SCOPE:
Moderately routine; general policies applied.
Some decision-making.
Influences decisions of moderate nature requiring high degree of tact.
Works within the project management system for the assigned project; produces and provides correspondence and coordination between Universal and Contractors/Vendors.
EDUCATION:
Associate degree is required.
Bachelor's degree in film/media production is preferred.
Experience:
Prefer 1 - 3 years Coordinator or Production Assistant experience in attraction/production environment.
Related theme park experience is a plus; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
