We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President to join our team.
This role is located in Lake Mary, FL, and is a hybrid position.
Team Overview:
The OTC Derivatives Lifecycle and Valuations team, an essential component of BNY Mellon's Asset Servicing Division, offers expert lifecycle, valuations, pricing, and analytics for OTC Derivatives to our diverse and prestigious clientele.
As we continue to expand, we seek a forward-thinking Vice President to lead our dedicated team from Lake Mary, FL.
Role Purpose:
The Vice President will command the OTC Derivatives Lifecycle and Valuation team with a focus on operational excellence, strategic progression, and the pursuit of perfection in our valuation processes.
This leadership role is critical for delivering strategic direction, operational oversight, and ensuring the integrity of our valuation services.

Responsibilities:
Supervisory Excellence:
Oversee the comprehensive lifecycle of OTC Derivatives, ensuring that every phase, from trade capture, accounting, valuation and analysis to production and servicing, aligns with our unwavering standards for accuracy and reliability.
Operational Oversight:
Direct daily operations with a meticulous approach, guaranteeing the seamless execution of derivative servicing.
Ensure that lifecycle, valuation and pricing tasks are not only performed with precision but also adhere to the highest industry standards.
Strategic Execution:
Maintain a thorough understanding of, and ensure the correct application of, activities within our sophisticated accounting systems for OTC Derivatives.
Your expertise will ensure that our systems operate at peak efficiency and effectiveness.
Quality Assurance:
Verify the integrity and accuracy of data within the accounting systems, establishing checks and balances that safeguard against errors and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Innovation and Process Improvement:
Proactively seek and implement enhancements in our operating model for lifecycle management, valuation models and analytics, advocating for advancements that streamline our operations and elevate our service delivery.
Candidate Profile:
A proven leader with extensive experience in the financial sector, particularly with OTC Derivatives.
An innovator who excels in strategy development, process optimization, and team leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics; Master's or CFA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience, with a demonstrated track record in financial services leadership.
Demonstrable expertise with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Access, and VBA.
Proficiency in automation and analytics tools such as PowerBI and Alteryx is highly valuedOur

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
