We're hiring a Director to join our Market P&L team.

About the role This role is responsible for supporting membership growth and management.
This is done by executing the local network strategy and ensuring providers across our service area have the information and support they need to provide best-in-class member care and drive quality outcomes.
You will report to the Regional Vice President, - East Region, Market P&L.

Oscar is a blended work culture where everyone, regardless of work type or location, feels connected to their teammates, our culture and our mission.
If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office ( in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Ave), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week.
Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is:
$174,400 - $228,900 per year.
The base pay for this role in all other locations is:
$156,960- $206,010 per year.
You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities Shape, maintain and oversee the business plan for your markets.
Develop and maintain relationships and oversee transactions within your market Drive financial terms, rate structures, and key KPIs Identify and execute on growth opportunities Serve as the chief subject matter expert on your partners and be a key internal source of knowledge on relevant region and policy developments.
Build, manage, and constantly improve upon workflows and systems Generate financial insights that will ensure Oscar's long-term sustainability, and work with internal departments and leaders to execute on these insights Lead a team of key talent both within your direct and matrix reporting teams.
Form strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders across the company to understand the impact of our partner relationships and contractual terms on their work streams and inform our strategies Contribute as a member of the leadership team, advocating for the needs of your markets and members.
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations Other duties as assigned Qualifications 10
years of work experience in the healthcare industry 8
years of experience managing complex negotiations and interpersonal skills needed to build relationships and communicate clearly at the executive level 8
years of experience in healthcare contracting, operations and market economics 8
years of analytical experience with the ability to quickly digest and evaluate complex financial structures and operational workflows Bonus Points Masters of Business Administration, or other professional degree.
