Senior Fundraising Team Member This position supports the applicant, candidate and team training programs and requires the ability to effectively interview people with disabilities, manage a large volume of paperwork, create detailed records, promote, and explain the Canine Companions for Independence program and offer quality customer service.
A typical day as a Client Services Program Manager - Applicant may include:
Coordinate Applicant Program activities with the Program Director to ensure overall program cohesiveness.
Manage the application process.
Duties include:
screening, interviewing and record keeping of all applicants.
Evaluate applicants for appropriateness to program.
Begin relationship evaluation and relationship building process with applicants by gathering applicant data and communications with applicants.
Monitor regional waiting lists for all categories, including Service, Skilled Companion, Facility and Hearing, while striving to maintain appropriate waiting time of approved applicants.
Manage the balance in each wait list category according to designated ranges.
Promote candidate versatility and conduct targeted outreach as appropriate for each category.
Ensure candidates understand the Canine Companions program and its expectations.
Organize and administrate detailed record keeping, including related use of the portal.
Student/Team Training Program:
Responsible for organizing Team Training class preparation and implementation.
Must understand company policies and procedures to:
Invite students to class based on fair and appropriate methods.
Provide all necessary materials for incoming students for Team Training.
Work with campus staff to make all necessary arrangements for Team Training class.
Monitor and oversee running of ADI/Public Access testing during Team Training.
Schedule, oversee and recruit volunteers for Team Training.
EXPECTATIONS:
To be successful in this position:
Must Haves:
High School diploma or equivalent; some post-secondary education as it pertains to the essential job functions preferred.
Able to perform several tasks concurrently, time management and organizational skills.
Able to coordinate, network and motivate staff, volunteers, and clientele.
Able to effectively communicate and assist applicants and maintain confidential information.
Able to complete necessary paperwork and meet deadlines.
Able to perform public speaking with disability awareness and sensitivity.
Familiarity with dog training and animal health Nice to Haves:
Prior experience in high volume project management and customer service Experience working with people with disabilities preferred.

Full-Time Pay:
$61,000 - $63,000 per year The base salary range above represents the range for this position.
Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
