com Job Description - Sales Support Specialist Position:
Sales Support Specialist Department:
Sales Sales Support Specialist represents an entry-level position.
Employees at this position grade possess little to no knowledge of Medivest departmental policies and procedures, and Medicare Secondary Payer compliance.
Overview The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for assisting the rest of the Sales Team in the sales cycle.
Their primary focus is ensuring that the items necessary to fulfill the sales product of service are fully delivered to operations.
They work with the Directors of Sales and VP of Business Development in a support role, assisting the with addressing customer needs.
They also service to properly direct new online business inquiries to the correct sales personnel.
They are the primary liaison between the Sales and Operations teams.
Location & Schedule:
This is a full-time position performed remotely at the Sales Support Specialist's home.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 1 year administrative work experience and thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in the use of common office technology, including software such as those in the Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft 365, and Adobe Attention to detail a must Independent decision making and problem-solving skills Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks assigned by team members Excellent written and verbal communication skills Great organizational and time management skills Ability to interact with other employees with an accommodating attitude geared toward needs and considering other's responsibilities and deadlines Performs the following tasks with supervision and direction:
Support the Director of Sales in maintaining and strengthening the organization's relationships with its customers Assist in the preparation of quotations and/or the processing of new business Referrals entering data into the operating systems Answer business inquiries sourced from the website and/or social media Help with sales projects such as preparation of formal proposals, training materials, presentations, trade show preparations, and sales marketing projects.
Back up Directors of Sales and/or VP of Business Development when not available.
Other items as necessitated by the sales process where assistance may be needed.
Interface with the organization's Operations team to ensure effective new sales delivery.
Subordination The Sales Support Specialist reports to the Executive VP of Sales and provides support to the Directors of Sales responsible for the territory to which they are assigned.
Compensation The Sales Support Specialist is compensated by an annual salary calibrated to the territory/market where they live.
