Sr Systems Engineer
DCS is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join the team supporting Joint Program Executive Office Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND), developing innovative solutions as part of a portfolio of Agile software development teams to solve problems in support of the National Security mission.
Essential Job Functions:
Interface directly with project managers, Government stakeholders, vendors, and developmental organizations to identify software system requirements, providing designs and implementations for CBRND products.
Manage one or more Agile software projects or programs.
Provide inputs to plans of execution to include scope, needs, and schedule.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related and 20
years of experience.
Master's Degree in Systems Engineering, Business Administration or related and 18
years of experience.

Define modern systems engineering and DevSecOps approaches for an Agile organization.
Combine strong project management skills with Agile methodologies to manage software projects Manage the development, delivery, and support of system and software requirements across a portfolio of projectsApply scientific or engineering models to inform the development and maintenance of software productsResearch, identify, and adapt cutting-edge technologies to develop solutions maintaining a cyber-secure environment.
Apply modern systems and testing methodologies to assure quality and cyber posture for software being produced through DevSecOps pipelines Desired Skills:
Strong experience managing Agile development projects.
Experience designing and updating systems and software architectures using modern tools, such as SysML.
Experience with systems engineering, software development, and software assurance in an Agile environment.
Understanding of modern systems architecture, including web and container architecturesUnderstanding of Risk Management Framework principles.
Experience supporting fielded software systems.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
