Costuming First Hand - Full Time - Walt Disney World
We are looking for a Costuming First Hand! Costume First Hands works in partnership with other Costuming Cast and Leaders when crafting new costumes and when repairing existing costumes! These Cast Members also have a detailed understanding of fabric properties, fabric cutting, and reading and writing patterning sew details & specs for tech packs.
This role allows you to use your knowledge of patternmaking, costume construction, garment alterations, and costume fittings.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $24.
50 per hour.

/>Basic Qualifications :
Be at least 18 years of age Satisfactorily pass the sewing and pattern assessments Comfortable working in an area where you may be exposed to performers in various stages of dress/undress Work for extended periods of high activity including jobs that may include repetitive activity Work in varying temperatures and high-lint areas Work around all types of fibers, artificial or natural Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling Willing to work at various heights Prolonged standing and walking during peak operational hours Additional Information :
SCHEDULE AVAILABILTYOur Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:
00am while some may end as late as 3:
00am, 4:
00am or 5:
00am.
