Senior Infrastructure Security Analyst

Our client, a media/entertainment company, is looking to add a Senior Infrastructure Security Analyst to their team! This role will be working alongside the manager to help move various projects forward and get the team caught up with initiatives.
This position is focused primarily on assisting delivery teams with making good security decisions aligned with company policies and best practices.
Additionally, proactive work towards automation of some controls testing as well as building a library of best practices as time permits.
Looking for someone who has specific experience interacting with application teams to convey security guidance, as well as providing best practices.
Guidance should be in a cooperative fashion with teams, not just saying 'no', but 'how' we get to a desired solution.
Understanding infrastructure and how it is designed and architected.
Time management skills and capability to handle competing priorities is a must.
This is a service delivery role.
Responsibilities:
Understand cybersecurity impact in the organization and how to apply cybersecurity principles to organizational requirements Focus on information security findings management, detections, and resolution with emphasis on infrastructure assets Assist technical partners with root cause analysis for non-compliance and work with infrastructure technical teams to identify solutions Apply data analytics to identify trends & patterns related to the behavior of infrastructure assets Provide project management & oversight as needed for the Corporate Information Security team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience 5 years of service delivery experience in a geographically dispersed organization 5-10 years of experience managing, supporting, and/or implementing server and network infrastructure Experience with common infrastructure asset types/platforms and modern operating systems (workstation, server, network, etc.
) General familiarity with Information Security concepts, best practices, and how they apply to infrastructure assets Experience with the following software:
Microsoft O365, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, Tableau, Power BI Strong relationship management skills Ability to refine complex and difficult concepts into easy-to-understand communications Ability to tailor technical and planning information to a customer's level of understanding Experience in large, heterogenous environments and delivery of security guidance to application teams.
(global or multi-loation enterprise Information security background (years of experience is not the priority).
Work and proven automation of tasks would be a huge help Strong interpersonal and communication skills-must be able to build relationships.

Qualifications:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
