00 SalaryDescriptionSUMMARYResponsible for the analysis, development, and presentation of insights in support of improved decision making across the organization.
Demonstrates exemplary skills in retrieving and analyzing data sets with millions of records and is highly proficient in SQL, Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Creates metrics and dashboards using a range of data sets including financial, supply chain, and customer experience metrics.
Possesses exemplary data visualization skills and has a knack for simplifying complex concepts into clear data outputs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Perform analysis on client data to provide insights, identify trends, assess product performance, establish benchmarks, etc.
Monitor the systems business performance, identify areas for improvement and assist in business development strategies Monitor and improve current processes Assist clients with product performance questions, including salvage Develop predictive models to detect loss and predict customer behavior Work with large datasets Present results from these analyses to management, communicate issues to and from clients, and coordinate resolution of those issues Partner with analytics and business stakeholders to analyze performance, promotions effectiveness, and financial performance of business segments (e.
g.
categories, brands, and SKUs) Develop, enhance, and maintain standardized business reporting such as weekly business reviews Gather requirements to lead development and creation of insightful and intuitive Tableau dashboards using multiple data sources, parameters, and measures Independently evaluate analytics processes and reporting tools with a goal of continuously improving data availability and scalability Partner with various teams to develop and QA new data tables and data sources across multiple platforms ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS Focus on making decisions about the products and deliverables that help the organization attain its mission and assist in the implementation of new technology as needed Implementation of solutions using technology/tools/models/techniques Helping everybody understand the project vision, while clarifying doubts and questions Resolve any ambiguity around the requirements and attaining clear consensus of all stakeholders Communicate any change and amendments to project Other duties as assigned QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES Strong project management skills Data visualization skills using Tableau or equivalent data visualization tool Proficiency in SQL and Excel Understanding of Financial KPIs and P&L statement Proficient understanding of statistics and development of KPIs to measure business performance Familiarity with thrift pricing, assortment, fulfillment, and inventory management strategies High degree of proficiency executing complex and large-scale data analyses across millions of records Strong understanding of data warehousing and relational or columnar database structure Proven experience delivering high quality results on tight timelines Superior attention to detail and experience creating mechanisms to monitor data integrity Ability to operate in ambiguous environments with speed and commitment to quality Preferred:
Experience using Google Analytics or equivalent platform to measure site and funnel performance Business Intelligence experience building tools in a retail setting Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelors degree in Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Information Management or a related degree with analytical or quantitative emphasis is preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 5
years of directly transferrable work experienceMath Ability:
Level 4:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this role successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS, Zoom, SQL and Python.
