We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner to diagnose and treat health conditions - with a specialty in pediatrics.
You'll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals.
Patience and problem-solving skills are important as well as communication abilities.
Apply the principles, methods and techniques of medicine to provide patient care.
Work closely with the Provider & Practice Administrator to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
Cooperate with management in the direction of all clinic activities to ensure accomplishment of all clinic objectives.
Evaluate medical procedures and everyday situations and suggest ways to improve delivery of service and profitability.
Responsibilities Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.
) Diagnose health conditions and illnesses Propose treatments for chronic and infectious diseases Prescribe medications Maintain accurate records and schedules Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention Oversee patients' overall health Promote good health practices Advance professional knowledge and conduct research Provide medical treatment to the patients.
Chart all patient transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Works closely with Medical Assistants to assure compliance of all applicable regulations.
Communicate and work with medical staff to ensure coordinated efforts for the provision of high quality medical treatment and client service.
Comply with ethical, legal & professional issues.
Comply with quality assurance for all medical issues and assist in the solution of any medical problems.
Contribute solutions to intra- and inter-departmental problems.
Protect clinic assets and property against loss or waste through negligence or dishonesty.
Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
Skills Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other setting Expertise in primary care, acute care or chronic care practices Knowledge of health and patient care regulations Excellent communication skills Strong ethics Team spirit with a positive attitude Patience and cool-headedness Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience Valid nurse practitioner license Knowledge of professional medical practices related to treatment.
Knowledge of organizational and medical policies, regulations and procedures.
Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments.
Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe medical environment.
Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
Skill in developing and maintaining medical quality assurance and quality control standards.
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, employees, medical staff and the general public.
Ability to react calmly, objectively and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff and clients.
Strong organizational skills; orientation to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
