Job Summary Construction Manager with a technical background in water pump stations, wastewater treatment plants and pipelines. The construction manager will be responsible for leading projects through planning, design and construction phases. Project types could include water transmission pipelines, water pump stations, wastewater collection systems, wastewater pump stations and related infrastructure projects. They will need to be skilled in planning studies, field alignment studies, coordinating with sub-consultants and utility owners, preparing preliminary and final design, drawing preparation coordination, developing technical specifications, and performing office and field services during construction. They will also be expected to direct production staff and perform client management activities to support our Water/Wastewater team. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute work on wastewater, storm water, and water utilities planning, design, and construction projects. Projects may include water distribution and treatment, wastewater collection and treatment, pipeline and pump station rehabilitation, and storm water. Successfully manage and deliver projects on time and on budget. Utilize internal project management tools and resources Prepare technical deliverables (modeling reports, design reports, technical memoranda) documenting analyses, findings, and recommendations. Present findings to Clients through effective oral and written communication. Lead project teams, including technical subject matter experts, in planning and/or designing a major engineering project and coordinate special planning, economic, and engineering studies. Communicate effectively and coordinate with project teams including other disciplines (subject matter experts, cost estimators, GIS, designers, and other engineers). Review and analyze engineering data and reports Lead and manage construction administration phases of projects including submittal reviews, requests for information, correspondence, change requests, pay application processing, direction/supervision of inspection staff, and change orders for ongoing construction projects. Take technical and management responsibility of tasks and delegate effectively to junior staff. Assist in preparation of client fee proposals. Preferred Qualifications Approximately 10 years Construction Management experience. Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree 10 years construction experience managing 1-3 concurrent W/WW, transportation or vertical facilities construction projects each valued in the range of >$3M to $20M in construction value. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering or heavy industrial experience preferred, or 3
years of experience at the superintendent level. 8
years with a degree or 18
years construction experience without degree with 2 of those years at equivalent construction manager 1 level. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following:

o Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds. o Stand, Kneel, Bend, Stoop, Move, and Walk long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas. o See and hear naturally or with correction. o Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties. o Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure. o Requires repetitive movement. o May require work above 5 feet in height. o Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, ladders and scaffolds. o Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions. o Requires working in cramped work spaces and getting into awkward positions. o Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32F degrees) temperatures and exposure to inclement weather such as dust, wind, snow, rain, etc. o Requires working in extremely bright or low lighting conditions o Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable. o Work around hazardous equipment. o Typical office environment. o This position is considered a safety sensitive position.
