Lead DevSecOps Engineer - Virtual at Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL

Lockheed Martin's Automation Center of Excellence (ACOE) is looking for a Lead DevSecOps Engineer that will be responsible for leadership and operations of Enterprise DevSecOps tools including GitLab, Atlassian JIRA, Nexus, and several others. This individual must have a good working knowledge of Site Reliability best practices and have the ability to drive and influence best practices both internally within the Automation Center of Excellence and across all Lockheed Martin Business areas. The ideal candidate will have a broad software development background combined with effective communication skills. Additionally, the ideal candidate for this role will be proficient in their understanding of DevSecOps best practices and will also be able to guide software development teams who are adopting DevSecOps best practices as part of their Digital Transformation effort. Duties include, but are not limited to:
o Lead the ongoing support, maintenance, and improvement of ACOE DevSecOps tools including but not limited to GitLab, JIRA, and Nexus. o Work Collaboratively with Lockheed Martin's Software Factory teams to design robust, scalable, and highly available architectures for all supported DevSecOps enablement tools. o Lead the effort to automate all tools deployments, updates, and maintenance by leveraging IaC with GitOps workflows. o Lead the effort to automate any routine support activities. o Provide IaC and GitOps guidance to teams who support their own instances of ACOE supported DevSecOps tools. o Lead the effort to provide real-time monitoring and proactive alerting of potential issues. Qualifications:
o Professional experience with container orchestration and designing scalable architectures o 2
years of professional experience operating in an Infrastructure as Code environment utilizing Terraform and Ansible o 2
years of professional experience building CI/CD pipelines in GitLab o 2
years of professional experience developing and supporting a full stack DevSecOps CI / CD environment o 2
years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud computing o 10
years of technical experience across a multitude of IT disciplines including systems administration, software development, operations, networking and/or security o Familiar with Site Reliability Best Practices o Experience implementing GitOps workflows o Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices o Excellent presentation and written communications skills o Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills Desired Skills:
o Model Based Engineering (MBE) experience o Experience with AWS GovCloud o AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate o Experience with SSO, SAML, Oauth, and Active Directory
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
