The Leasing Consultant position requires good organizational, communication, and basic mathematical skills. It will also require an individual who is assertive and that has the ability to close a sale. Applicant must be willing to work weekends, and flexible hours. A minimum of 2 years property management experience required.
General responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Conducting all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and all other Federal, State and Local laws pertaining to Multi-Family Housing, Real Estate and License law.
Offering a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the leasing center and any other areas where prospective residents and current residents might interact with them. All models and market readies should be inspected daily prior to showing in order to insure their quality appearance.
Greeting all prospects with a warm smile and friendly handshake . Leasing Professionals should have a clear understanding of the features of their property's benefits and how it compares to the competition. It is important to know what the market is doing and what specials are being offered.
Education Requirements:
High school diploma, Course work in Real Estate a plus
Qualifications and skills:
Strong oral communications skills
Strong interpersonal skills
2
years of Leasing Professional (Agent) Experience.
Eligible candidates must pass a drug test and background check

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
