Responsible for verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) Meet Department targets for Safety Meet company targets for Inventory Accuracy Meet department targets for Inventory related transactions (transfers, putaway, picking) Meet yearly Department targets for Production Support ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintains stock records, logs, reports and other documentation.
Records goods received; rejects damaged, excess or misdirected goods.
Reviews orders for correct part's number and description to ensure that the correct product and/or part is ordered.
Identifies order discrepancies and corrects discrepancies in a timely manner.
Loads and ships customer orders.
Maintains an inventory of cartons, tapes, crates, clamps, foam and other packing material.
Verifies and appropriately packages all parts accordingly to product specification to prevent damage and/or customers from receiving a defective item.
Provides excellent customer service via telephone and in-person.
Responds to phone calls/emails requesting parts information in a timely manner.
Reviews and troubleshoots customer problems and initiates standard corrective action procedures.
Notifies management when inventory of specific items is low or when orders will deplete available inventory.
Ensures that an adequate stock of parts is available to meet customer needs.
Keeps parts and stock area neat, organized, and clean.
