Operations Director -Job Description-PURPOSE:
The Dream Team / Operations Director supports the vision of Alive Church through overseeing the volunteer process and supporting the Campus Pastor in all operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 1:
Oversee Weekly ServicesDUTY STATEMENT 1:
Accountability and oversight of team captains.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Ensure teams, programming and environments are ready for a Sunday service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 2:
Dream TeamDUTY STATEMENT 1:
Develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities within Alive Church.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Recruit, interview and place applicants for volunteer workDUTY STATEMENT 3:
Provide ongoing support and guidance for volunteersDUTY STATEMENT 4:
Find and fix problematic teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY 3:
OperationsDUTY STATEMENT 1:
Champion the implementation of infrastructure by all ministry and support areas that builds healthy, long-term growth of the church.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Provide leadership and Organization of the church.
DUTY STATEMENT 3:
Build a culture of organization with clarity and simplicity.
DUTY STATEMENT 4:
Be able to communicate to the church and the dream team when needed.
DUTY STATEMENT 5:
Oversee the day to day operations of Alive Church KEY RESPONSIBILITY 4:
Personal Growth and Development DUTY STATEMENT 1:
Resource- read spiritual and leadership books/material.
DUTY STATEMENT 2:
Mentorship - reach out and learn from others in your field.
DUTY STATEMENT 3:
Craft - carve out time to develop and stretch yourself creatively.
Manage & Steward Department Budget - turning in receipts in a timely manner, keeping record of expenses and attending to the financial needs of the department.
