Landscape Maintenance Specialist Supervisor:

Exempt Essential Job Functions:
Intermediary between field operations and the owner/developer.
Observe, document and report landscape modifications & deficiencies within the developer controlled area.
Provide horticultural inspections and reports as needed to ensure that landscape assets are maintained in top quality condition.
Participate in the company's sustainability objectives for overall green strategies and conservation of water.
Manage regular maintenance inspections, enhancements, and preventative maintenance schedule consisting of irrigation checks, fertilization, pruning, pest management.
Update consistently and provide reports to ensure owner standards are maintained.
Understand landscape plans and specifications for a wide array of project types.
Supervise vendor activities and verify work is in compliance with our developer landscape maintenance specifications and proper horticulture standards.
Oversee tasks relating to ongoing landscape enhancements.
Plan review of requested landscaping or hardscape modifications from HOA residents, including communication to all affected parties and inspections of approved enhancements.

Available for manager on call responsibilities on a 24/7 basis Perform various administrative duties relative to the position and any others requested; attend a variety of meetings internal and in the field, Assists in the development of the annual landscaping and operating budgets and effectively work within the budget framework.
Review and approve Request for Payments submitted by vendors.
May safely operate a Company vehicle (?).

Essential
Qualifications:
Landscape Management, Landscape Maintenance, Horticulture or Landscape Architecture degree.
A bachelor's degree from a southeastern school is preferred.
Five or more years combined experience in landscape maintenance, nursery production, landscape installation, and irrigation installation required.
Experience as a landscape maintenance superintendent capacity preferred.
MS Word, Outlook and Excel required.
CPO designation desired (What is CPO?) Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
Must have valid Florida driver's license and be insurable for automobile insurance with company's auto insurance carrier.
Extensive knowledge of Central Florida plant material and current irrigation systems is required.
Experience in working in active operating properties and scheduling services accordingly Knowledge of Community Development Districts favored Essential Physical Requirements:
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to communicate in English effectively with other individuals.
Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Must be able to maintain good relations with employees, supervisors and contractors Must be in good physical condition to perform above job duties as outlined above.
Duties require long periods of standing, kneeling, squatting, bending and lifting requirements of up to 80 pounds.
Must be able to navigate through rough and uneven terrain.
Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
Must have ability to work in hot, humid, and muggy conditions on continuous basis.
