We have an exciting opportunity to join our team! Our Recreation Attendant is responsible for organizing or supervising activities; running concession stands such as Cotton Candy and Snow Cones; or assisting patrons with activities and games.
This position will also facilitate and host birthday parties according to the guests needs.
Must be enthusiastic and provide excellent customer service.
Essential Functions:
oCollaborate with fellow associates to facilitate activities.
oEnsure materials are presented for events.
oFacilitate special crafts and projects.
oAssist with the planning and execution of activities and events.
oMeet scheduling and availability requirements.
oUse computers or computerized equipment.
oProvide service beyond expectations to ensure all groups and children have a memorable time.
oPerform as Coco the Parrot as needed.
oChaperone Coco the Parrot for required appearances.
oClean arcade and seating areas.
oAssist patrons with activities/event.
oCollect tickets and/or money for rides or concessions.
oInspect equipment to detect and report wear and tear.
oPrepare, sign-out, inspect, and sign-in outdoor recreation equipment and store properly.
oBreak down, clean, and store activities, areas of service, and machines (cotton candy/snow cone).
oDescribe park attractions and hotel amenities to patrons.
oEntice patrons to play games.
oSupervise game play and award prizes.
oInstall, break down, and clean equipment, booths, facilities, or grounds.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least one (1) year of relevant recreation attendant and/or guest relations experience.
