Supports rehab therapy care delivery by preparing and assisting in treatment area, patients, equipment, and materials.
The value you'll bring to the team:
o Anticipates needs and assists staff with patient care, treatment, and other tasks by correctly and promptly carrying out assigned activities/duties.
Ensures patient and staff safety by recognizing situations which place patient or staff at risk and responds appropriately o Prepares treatment room for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols o Maintains safe and clean working environments, ensures supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained, while adhering to procedures, rules, and regulations o Performs therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a licensed therapist o Communicate appropriately and effectively with patients, family, and health care professionals within and across care settings and communities o Attends department meetings and education as required o As requested, perform clerical duties, such as taking inventory, ordering supplies, answering telephone, taking messages, and filling out forms o Willingly adjusts and adapts to changes in workload by altering working hours to assist in other areas/centers/programs as approved and observed by supervisor/manager o Performs other duties as assignedQualificationsThe expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Grad or Equiv 0 years' experience LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
