Summary:
Position SummaryActs as a sourcing agent for the organization; ability to evaluate suppliers for products and services based on price, quality and speed to value.
Facilitates and oversees all aspects of the value analysis process and identifies and executes cost containment strategies to control non-labor spend for specific service line(s).
Implements sourcing plans analyze price proposals, financial reports and other information to effectively manage the assigned service line (s) and associated activities.
An important aspect of this role is maximizing supplier performance and supporting the companys business plan.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions Facilitates the value analysis process by gathering information to perform needs assessment, determining appropriate sources for products, reviewing clinical and non-clinical practices, conducting cost and clinical quality analysis.
Communicates results of all financial and clinical analysis to executive, clinical and physician leadership.
Facilitates change management and activities related to product introduction/implementation.
Negotiates contracts on behalf of the organization for products and services.
Assist with vendor management, track vendor compliance with contract terms and conditions, assessment of impact on existing contracts.
Facilitates vendor business reviews when necessary and review key performance indicators with vendors, identify areas for improvement.
Collaborates with both clinical and non-clinical, internal departments, to extract, understand and effectively communicate pertinent data.
Identifies cost savings and utilization opportunities within dedicated service line(s) by collaborating with departments, local and national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO), and product benchmarking services.
Assists with training of new Corporate Resource Analysts and Strategic Sourcing Analysts.
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Other Related Functions Obtains information required to facilitate the Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI) and contracting process, with the final decision being obtained through the multidisciplinary or governance team process.
When applicable, partnering with Orlando Healths Group Purchasing Organization.
Performs moderate to complex financial analysis of supplier data, organizational spend and utilization, project data, as well as assess total cost ownership and total cost of care, to identify savings and general sourcing.
Identifies and assesses potential opportunities, develop business cases, and presents recommendations to various levels of leadership to build support of the initiative.
Participates in strategic meetings with suppliers and business leaders to ensure execution of defined strategies, contractual requirements, and emerging technology.
Establish and develops preferred supplier programs and partnerships.
Processes new vendors into Orlando Health Information Systems by submitting New Vendor add forms and setting up vendors in vendor credentialing system and/or assign hard badges when applicable.
Maintains a high degree of customer service commitment with the ability to communicate data in front of diverse groups.
Ability to function in a team environment, as well as being self-directed.
Qualifications:
Education/Training Bachelors degree in finance, industrial engineering, nursing, healthcare administration, supply change management or related field is required.
Associates degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Bachelors degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).
Experience Four (4) years of sourcing, contract management, finance, clinical, or logistics experience.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) with emphasize on spreadsheet and PowerPoint design.
Sound critical thinking skills as it related to data analysis and contracting processes.
Must possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills.
Recommended Skills Accounting Change Management Clinical Works Communication Cost Reduction Credentialing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
