Event Planning and Fundraising Intern Primary
Responsibilities:
The Event Planning and Fundraising Intern is responsible for Engaging in Strategic Planning For upcoming events Opportunity to innovate new fundraising event(s) Tracking information on the Donor Management software platform Creating additional revenue streams at events Preliminary grant writing Minimum
Qualifications:
Basic Computer Skills Demonstrated track record of organizational ability Experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events A willingness to make a commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organization Skills Needed:
Self-motivated Strong Organizational skills Excellent Communication skills oral and written Outstanding Time management ability to set goals, meet deadlines Understanding of the team concept and ability to function as a team member and as a team leader Experience with Donor Management software is a plus Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Publisher, and other flyer/image software are a plus Additional Info:
Flexibility with regards to days/hours of week for internship; Intern must perform duties in office Opportunities to suggest your own projects in areas you wish to grow Reports to Director of Development and Marketing DRUG FREE WORKPLACE Equal Opportunity Employer.
