RN Emergency Transfer Center Orlando Per Diem Facility Profile Department Profile Work Hours/Shift:

Job Summary Skills, Education & Experience Required:
Possesses a broad nursing knowledge Ability to triage calls.
Proficient in typing and bask computer skills Graduate of a RN Nursing Program Batchelor s in Nursing or Health Related field.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for the flow process involved in call taking, facilitating acceptance and triage of calls though the transfer center and dispatch.
Communicates with the Orlando Ops Team facilitating correct patient placement Demonstrates knowledge in emergency triage care of pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for accurate/timely placement.
Completes timely accurate documentation of demographics and the transfer process in the Right Cad system for department STATS and FH regulatory compliance.
Follows templates for service line specifics and processes of acceptance and denials of patient transfers/transports into and through out the FH system.
Initiates the hospital and physician chain of command when appropriate or if there are EMTALA concerns.
Proficiency in understanding and use of systems/equipments in the department to include but not limited to the Right Cad, recording system and bed management system.
