Job Summary The TIGI Educational Sales Coordinator (ESC) will become not only a passionate hair care expert, but a valuable business consultant whose analysis, judgment and knowledge of the consumer and industry dynamics makes for a valuable partner to our retail customers.
Duties and Responsibilities Represent the company goals and strategies to salon professionals and co-workers to build relationships and increase sale revenue through knowledge transfer, positive interaction, and teamwork.
Achieve assigned quantitative and qualitative sales goals and brand building measures.
Lead, manage, and execute key activities that grow market share, sales, and profitability within our local go-to-market strategy.
Achieve and exceed brand objectives, sales goals, and benchmarks established by global and Americas objectives.
Consistently demonstrate the application of company values in all business interactions.
Main Accountabilities Develop the needed relationships with the localized salons and TIGI Talent Ambassadors to activate local activities, goals, and market objectives.
Evaluate, monitor, conduct and train direct sales team and TIGI Talent Ambassadors meetings on company initiatives, localized goals, product innovation, and revenue building programs.
Responsible for working daily with and directing all direct-to-salon functions to include:
TIGI Specialists, sales management, procurement, marketing, public relations, and education teams.
Daily goals and objective communications, sales development training, product technical training, technique and application utilization and reinforcement of salon development tools with TIGI Specialists and salon customers.
Daily evaluations of market objectives, brand strategies, sales development, and market opportunities.
Conduct and train salon meetings on company initiatives, localized goals, product innovation, and revenue building programs, while creating education and marketing calendars to secure activation.
Accompanying sales teams within the market for salon evaluation, feedback, educational needs, and assisting in staff development.
Effective ability to assist and achieve monthly sales goals and all account activities while coaching and developing strong partnerships with sales teams and salon base.
Manage various sales/educational meetings in a positive, informative, and motivational fashion to excite business partners to sell and represent our brand offerings.
Weekly & Monthly written reporting and constant communication to direct supervisor surrounding goals, objectives, results, and opportunities.
Recommend changes in products and services to existing customers.
Resolve customer complaints.
Maintain professional and technological knowledge of cutting edge technology.
Attend all corporate and local meeting/trainings.
Direct Reports / Key Interfaces Direct interaction with professional hair salon operations such as salon owners, administrators, and hairdressers.
Lead cross-functional teams to support market execution.
Interact with company business partners at all levels.
Interact with company support functions such as Customer Service and Channel Marketing.
Lead and assist contract labor against education objectives.
Key Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience behind the chair, sales experience is a plus.
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
Bachelors Degree is highly desirable.
Microsoft Office Proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build a network with key decision makers.
Effective verbal and interpersonal communication skills and strong negotiating abilities.
Proven record of Drive and Initiative with outstanding interpersonal skills.
Leadership ability and a willingness to take responsibility and accountability.
