Manager, Operations Analysis
Job Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities Improves operational/financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Reconciles transactions by comparing, auditing and correcting data.
Monitors and analyzes business trends and forecasts competitive data for each District and the overall region.
Analyzes reports for trends, inconsistencies and cost exception.
Reviews findings to determine root causes.
Plans, directs, and coordinates critical projects to ensure the objectives of each project are accomplished within a prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
Collects, analyzes, and summaries financial data from the competitors.
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
Responsibility Scope/Impact Required Experience Bachelor s Degree or equivalent work experience (6-8 years) 4 years Operational or Analytical experience Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of the financial calculations, reporting, and valuation methodologies.
Requires excellent analytical ability, ability to strategize, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to determine root cause of problems, implement improvement for productivity and cost savings.
Ability to understand business processes and translate business needs into appropriate data solutions.
Ability to influence others to increase performance levels.
Strong deductive reasoning and project management skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment and act with a sense of urgency.
Must have Strong PC, Data query skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Working understanding of computer application tools to perform financial calculations.
Travel Requirements Moderate travel is required.
