Expense Paid Vocational/Cultural Exchange - Taiwan

Company Name:

Rotary District 6980, which is made up of the fifty Rotary Clubs in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, & Sumter Counties, is looking for a five member team for a one month vocational/cultural exchange with Rotary District 3460 in Taiwan. All expenses will be paid by Rotary, and the five member team will be led by a Rotarian. During their stay in Taiwan, team members will stay in the homes of approximately eight Rotary families and be exposed to their respective professions in the host country. A team from Taiwan will return to the US with our team and have a very similar experience. As this writer knows from having made a similar visit to the Philippines, this is an amazing, life-changing experience that you will think about every day for the rest of your life. Long term relationships and bonds with both the people and the countries are formed and charitable works, grants, additional visits, sometimes scholarships, and many amazing things follow. My sixth trip to the Philippines is planned for October, and I will be staying with many of the same families I visited in 2008. Candidates should be aware that they travel with their team and are not able to go off on side excursions on their own (though many take advantage of post exchange opportunities).
Interested candidates will need to complete an application, interview successfully with a panel of Rotarians, and will spend several months training (after business hours) with their prospective teammates. Ideally, they will have the following qualifications and
Experience:
? Must be a resident of the five county area that comprises our Rotary District (Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake & Sumter)
? They may be from any vocation but should have been in their field for at least three years
? They cannot be related to a Rotarian
? Between the ages of 25 - 40
? Should be a US Citizen, though occasional exceptions are granted
? Comfortable presenting to groups, as they will do a good bit of that in the host country
? Full of energy and able to keep up with a very demanding schedule
? Willing to fulfill an obligation to make presentations to local Rotary Clubs about what they learned in the host country upon their return
The exchange dates are roughly (will not change by more than one or two days) March 15th - April 15th, 2015.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
