Administrative Assistant for a Criminal Defense Attorney

A criminal defense attorney with Imperium, P.A. in the Downtown Orlando area is looking for an assistant. The job is mostly administrative work and is $10.50/hr., Monday-Friday.
Job Requirements:
- Office experience necessary
- Must live in Orlando
- Must have own transportation
- Must be able to receive clearance from the Orange and Osceola County jails
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Calendar
Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and filing case documents
- Writing out depositions (following court document templates)
- Answering the phone; dealing with clients and business associates
- Staying on top of the voicemails, text messages, and emails that come in
- Setting appointments (with clients, court reporting offices, state attorneys office, business associates, etc.)
- Marking appointments in the calendar and keeping on top of the daily schedule
- Running errands
This position will not be open until about the 15th of August.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
